  2. Heat a pan add oil/butter add cinnamon and cloves let it turn aromatic. Add ginger, green chilli, onion and garlic and saute until the raw smell goes off. Onion should mildly change its color. Add in tomatoes and saute until they turn soft and mushy. Cool this completely and they add some cashews with it and Grind it into a fine smooth paste.
